I just wanted everyone to know that the bags came in at 1:30a this morning so the rest of the team woke up to their bags being here… they were elated to say the least… mike brubaker even gave a happy dance… wish i had it on video…. you should feel very proud of your children…. the staff here is very pleased with the ministry and attitude of our team… their will be another blog tonight from the students to tell you about today..

Hi everyone. So glad to hear everyone finally has all there luggage. Some of you may know me and others may not. I’m Madison Hartwell’s mom. I’ve been involved with Youth Group for several months now. I’m just trying to get to know everyone as best as I can. It’s hard. There are so many of you and only one of me. I’m also a wife and mom of 3 children, the youngest who is 8 months. So, I don’t always get to be there when I want to. However, the time I have spent with you has been awe inspiring. I look at you guys and I am SO proud of who you all are and are becoming. You are a true inspiration to all who see you in action. Sometimes when I watch you worshiping I am speechless, and if you ask Maddie, that rarely happens. I wish I had your passion for Christ when I was your age. You’re parents should all be so pround of you, and I know on this Father’s Day, your Father in heaven is beaming with pride. May you bring many, many people to Christ who will in turn go on to mentor and bring even MORE followers to our Lord and Savior. Have a wonderful time. I know God is going to do something amazing through you. I hope to join you on the Missions Trip next year. I will continue to pray for your safety and for your ministry. You guys are AWESOME!!
