I have been in prayer for all of you and God has given me incredible peace.
I know you are all making an impact and changing lives.
James, I miss you thiiiiiisssss much times infinity. I’ve been working out, walked another 4 miles today and am getting in shape. I love you so very, very mucho. I hope you are able to eat some of the cultural food. Ask them how they make their meals cause they love that!
Nick M. my MingMing, I miss your laugh and I can’t wait to hear your side of how this trip has impacted your life.
To the rest of Team Nicaragua 2010-I admire you and pray for you and I know how awesome you all are.
May God grant all of you health and deep restful sleep.
Love, Momma
I prayed today for laughter and times of refreshment. The updates are AWESOME — to say the least ! Being able to follow your schedules is amazing. Tears flow regularly as we read the posts. As much as there are times of being on a high and having mountain top experiences with God, there are just as sure to be times of fatigue, frustration, weariness from the heat, and rigorous schedules to stay on top of. So I felt impressed today to pray for times of laughter, and opportunities to refresh and regroup. PJeff, Hannah, Dave, and Sherry — the same for you as leaders. We’re sure that you’re missing your families just as much as we’re missing our kids over there !! Praying for times of refreshment for you as well.
Kelsi — we miss you terribly! Close your eyes and imagine a huge hug from us to you, and a whisper in your ear that says, “we’re so proud to call you our sweet girl.” I think specifically of the decals on the wall of your bedroom that say “pray,” and “believe.” We’re doing both on your behalf here at home. Do the same in your heart over there as well. I hope you have been able to make arrangements for Friday’s visit with Johanela. I spoke with your interpreter (Michael Morano) personally, and feel better that we had a conversation over the phone. He tells me that everything is ready to go for Friday morning at 8:00 AM. Don’t forget that camera — please !
PJeff / Hannah, if there is anything else you need from me back here in regard to Kelsi’s World Vision appointment, please give me a shout out and I’ll do whatever is necessary.
Team Nicaruauga — you are an impressive group of young adults ! You have been assembled as a team for many purposes — both in Nicaraugua and when you return home. The journey began months ago when you became a team, the journey will be far from over when you return. There will be much to do to influence those back here at home with your testimony and your actions as you continue to let your spark ignite a fire around you !
Huge Hugs !
Curt, Kelli, Kaitlin, Kayla and Carson (woof woof from Winston)
Hey Nicaragua team….i just got back from the wednesday night service “refresh” at the church. wanted to let you know our entire class that filled the choir room was praying for you. hope this gives you some encouragement and peace that everyone back home is cheering you on!! we love you and are so proud of you. love you Katie Siplivy
have a wonderful day tomorrow. drink up girl!!!
Team – I have to agree with the above – I have said from the very beginning that this crew must somehow form a family… oh sorry – I just digressed into the “Brady Bunch” theme!
But truely- I just love the way God brings specific teams together to work out His Purpose in His Timing – and to that end – I am continuing to pray daily for you all – I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have your itinerary on hand and know EXACTLY what to pray for and when!
I’ve even scrounged some photos from another blog and posted & tagged them on my FB so that other parents can see what you’ve been up to!
Nick – I pray you come away from this experience with a better understanding of what God has purposed for your life… and the same holds true for all of the team.
Remember to look out for those that are smaller and weaker than you – God created you just the way he wanted you to be – big and strong – to help take care of and protect others. Be wise in your words and kind-hearted in your dealings with others.
James – I love you and pray health to your body. Watch your brother.
A-Mac – I so appreciate your heart and am so grateful that God brought you to be on this team with my boys.
Caley – I am so proud of you! I can see you growing strong-hearted and independent through this adventure!
Continuing to pray for rest and refreshing, love, and patience… BE BLESSED!
Chel and Leah,

Hi Kristin – Well not sure if it is too late to get this message to you tonight or not – Just wanted you to know I miss you like crazy! I am so excited to see you and hear about all you have done. This will have memories for a lifetime!! I am going to send your cell phone with Mrs. Gray so you can call us as soon as you get off the plane! We just got in from Colin’s All Star game – they lost by one in the final bat – It was a good game and a beautiful night sit and watch. Your bunny, hedgehog, and fish are all being taken care of – Tookie got out of his pen yesterday and Colin found him hiding under the pool! Well keep up the Great work spreading God’s amazing word and blessings! We Love you the MOSTEST – Your Family
