Prayers on your behalf:
Lord – take away fears and bring peaceful sleep – Be with the team, FILL them with so much of who you are that they can’t help but overflow with the love of Christ for others…
Loosen quiet tongues to speak truth in love.
Open eyes to see – give Nick and Ellie the same wisdom they have used in Bridges to see the wounds and pain of the past in others & to speak the truth into lives so that others may frind TRUE FREEDOM in Christ.
Bring to the forefront those who are to be leaders – Aaron, Nick Webb, and all those you have appointed to be courageous young men and women warriors at the front lines of battle – raise up these leaders Lord!
Help Miranda find her place in prayer and give her the strength she needs to continue to battle the enemy.
Protect the sweet and gentle, loving spirit in Caley and the others – help them find their way and affirm their place in your plans for their lives!
Pour blessings over all of the adults that you have put in charge of our youth on this trip – open their eyes to see the beauty of those they stand shoulder to shoulder next to – give them outrageous wisdom as they continue to teach our youth by living out the example.
As it is written, as it has been spoken tonight Lord – bring us to this place as it is in Acts 2:17 “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”
Bond this team together like none other before them – forge their friendships in iron – and may they sharpen each other as they ALL draw closer to you Lord.
Protect them, guide them, speak to them, mold them, and bring to light their particular gifts of healing, prayer, love, and leadership we pray.
Ephesians 6:10-13
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
herefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Just got back from our prayer service and I must say this is the first time I ever prayed for metal trash cans! Glad you all made it there…hopefully we’ll all get some sleep tonight!
