Hello all, we are officially done with spanish speaking, A-men! Today we took a few people to a Haitian church, not the whole team, just a few people to represent the team. There was about 8 of us there, we ended doing one drama for them. It was a little bit of a different feel, at this church there was no spanish speaking, it was French. Thats right, FRENCH. As a missions team we had never been to anywhere where there was French being spoken. It was an amazing service.

Then the eight of us traveled back to the hotel where we met up with the rest of the team and headed off to the English speaking, AG church for another amazing service. The worship was OUTSTANDING, and the presence of God was soooo real! The spirit was on the move, and hearts and lives were changed. The service lasted about 2 1/2 hours. At the end the presented each Father with a gift, and offered pictures for fee of the fathers and their families if you wanted. At the end of service, we were greeted by members and the elders of the church. They were so welcoming and kind hearted.

We then left to go to a member of the churches house, for a delicious chicken, rice, and vegetables lunch. Like I said… DELICIOUS! Hung out for a little and came back to the hotel, got changed then walked to the beach. IMG_1229 While we were there, we first listened to the song “Clear the Stage” then Pastor Jeff told us that we need to go to where the waves are breaking… and to write in the sand the struggles and temptations were facing. Then after that, we were supposed to back up and let the waves wash it away, signifying that God is removing these things from our lives, and that these things are not apart of us anymore. It was a great moment for myself as well as the rest of the team… We prayed afterwards, then Stew and Troy gave a devo about Perseverance and Passion.

Then we came back to the hotel got changed, then back to the beach for some midnight ultimate frisbee. We had 3 different color glowsticks each team had their own color, we had a light up frisbee, and in the dark all you could see were glowsticks flopping around with a light up frisbee soaring through the air! It was pretty awesome… But now were gonna rest up, we have a day full of school assemblies and MEGA SPORTS CAMP starts tomm! We definitely appreciate all your prayers. Even though you are thousands of miles away, you are affecting the work that God is doing here, so we Thank you for that! Have a great night everyone and God Bless!!

Shout out from Jason and Justin. Abuela – Everyone is doing very well. It is an awesome time of ministry. God is moving in mighty ways!

  2. Félicitez le seigneur! Elogie al señor! Praise the Lord! We wish we could be there with you all!

There aren’t enough words to express how happy, grateful, excited, we are about all that Jesus is doing in you and through you.

Will be praying very much through these days of Sports Camp. It reminds me of Eric Liddell talking about his involvement in running. He said:

“I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast. And when I run I feel His pleasure.”

Praying that the students who come will feel God’s presence and his pleasure through your ministry.

Thinking of you every hour of every day, Cherith!

    Blessings to all!

I know God will change the lives of little kiddies during this sports camp, so anyone who isn’t excited about doing the sports camp get excited cuz God will use this as a huge opportunity to bring kids to Christ.

Ps; be praying..I don't know if any of you know the organization I love called Invisible Children, it's out to end the longest running war in Africa, it's in Uganda. And there is child soldiers and it's sickening, and crazy. Millions are displaced. It's horrible. There's a huge 2 day lobbying event going on in DC, it's epic, it's bringing awareness to the government, be praying, because this is huge step in ending this war. thanks ya'll.

I read in a book that we need to look for Jesus. Not in the ocean or the beautiful sunsets but in the faces of sinners and those forgotten. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus said, “Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me – you did it to me”.

So whenever you look out into the crowd, look for Jesus in that mass of faces. He wants us to humble ourselves and give everything to those who are forgotten. Jesus died for those who didn’t know his name.

I want you guys to keep pressing in. I’m so in love with God and how great He is showing Himself to you all through this missions trip!

Keep up the amazing amazing job that you have been doing!

Zach, when I see you in this picture, it makes me think of all the wonderful things you are doing not only on the Turks, but what you will be doing in the future. I see a young man who is willing to step up and out for his belief, his faith, his creator, and his savior. I have seen a big change in you lately, and you will continue to change every day. Grow in His will and walk in His paths, and you will never stray. You are one of the most loving kids I have ever seen (ok, yeah, I’m biased but it’s true!), so go show His love and let it shine through you. We love you Swee Pea! Can’t wait til Saturday/Sunday!
