First day of ministry = AMAZING!!!! We separated into boys and girls. The guys went to play soccer with the Panamanian boys and got crushed. the girls showed their skills in basketball. After this we were all drenched with grossness! Cathy and the other leaders opened up their houses to us for showering purposes. AHHHHH, SWEET RELIEF! We changed into our yet still dirty clothing and headed back to the base for lunch. Our first outreach was with the Kuna children. Our first program was a success. The children really responded well to the altar call.

Upon our arrival, were found bags of heavenly goodness. haha, meaning our luggage had arrived. Though eight of us are still lacking a bag in which we are praying will come in the morning. We are all awestruck by God at this point and roughing it is really making us appreciate our lives back in America.

To all the moms and dads, we love you and thanks for the encouraging remarks!

New blogs shall be posted daily

Stay tuned…

Hey Everybody! I have to say God must have AMAZING things in store for the rest of this trip and the enemy doesn’t like it! You got him runnin’ scared! woohoo!!! You all seem to be looking at the inconveniences as minor setbacks and realizing that the real reason you are there is to minister, no matter what. How you are handling yourselves in spite of these things speaks volumes! I am so proud of you. Keep it up. When you are ministering remember you have satan shaking and scared! You ARE CHANGING THE WORLD! One child, one heart at a time. Panama is never going to be the same.

Let revival come to Panama, all because you had faith enough to go and be Jesus’ hands and feet, and his mouth. I’m praying you have HIS EYES to see into each face as He sees them… Lost and knowing there IS a way. And you are there to show them that way.

May God grant each of you at least one person to speak into their lives. Look for that one person! Don’t miss your opportunity! Speak up! Be bold! Look at them as Jesus would. You won’t be able to be silent. Be open and the Lord will give you the words to speak.

May God continue to be ablaze in your hearts. May the fire of the Holy Spirit rest over your group and ignite an inextinguishable inferno that will literaly Rock Panama to it’s core! You guys are awesome. I’m covering you in prayer tonight and expecting to hear more awesome reports!

Once again, God has proven his faithfulness. Team, I am so proud of your positive perspective in this scenerio when it could have been aweful. Goes to show who lives within your hearts. Actions speak volume….

Knowing that God has a distinct purpose for each one of you on this trip. Believing you will trust in him and listen to his voice even when it doesn’t look familiar. Praying for confidence in his name. Loving prayers…

It is so exciting to read the updates of your ministry. I loved the photo of Lindz sleeping:). We continue to pray for powerful ministry and the touch of God on all of your lives. I hope to see that all luggage soon arrived—but it sounds like there will be lots of great memories from the inconvenience. Big hugs and kisses to Andrea & Lindsay from mom and dad. We will be praying for the ministry at the school on Monday. Your CLA family loves you all and are grateful for your willingness to share Jesus around the world.

Hey Michael, Evan & Team -

So glad most of the luggage arrived, but there really is nothing like bonding over unbrushed teeth and sweaty t-shirts! It’s great that the missionaries took pity on you all and let you use their showers! I’m sure that felt like heaven.
We’re continuing to pray for you as you minister to and build relationships with those kids. God has great things in store for you guys. Can’t wait to hear everything! P. Jeff we so appreciate the blog – it’s great to know just a little bit of what is happening so we can pray more effectively. Take care of each other!
