Children’s dramas children’s dramas and more children’s dramas. (Laura)

Hola folks! Well our day started out nice and early with us rushing to Hosanna church for morning services. (This church has 7000 people who attend weekly.) Service was great and surprisingly, most of the songs were American songs translated so we could happily sing along. After service we were escorted to an area that basically looked like a circus tent where we did a 2 hour program of all the songs, skits, and dramas we knew.
The next part of our day was sweet rest and food! The women here at our house are amazing cooks. Today we had some kind of beef, onion, bean, and pepper stir-fry stuff over rice. It was MAGNIFICENT! We also had a few hours to relax. Some of the boys ran down the block to a park that’s nearby to play some basketball (much to Fergie’s delight) and futbol. Majority though stayed at the house and played killer wink, relaxed, got a shower, and slept. The weather today was also very commendable-slightly muggy but no direct sunlight because of rain and cloud covering. Muy Bien!
After much loved relaxation, we were all herded back onto the van and driven back to Hosanna church for another kids service. God really allowed things to work out really well during service. The kids really responded well and we had a great prayer time at the end. The rest of the evening consisted of a trip to an awesome open-air mall to grab food (They had Subway and Burger King woohoo!) and back to home for an awesome time of worship, devotions, and prayer.

P.S. shout-out to mom and dad Hummel and the lovely Justin. Love you guys-there’s no emailing here so I’ll tell you everything when I get back!
Side Note: it has been brought to our attention that some of you are bored. Please refer to the comments of the last post to find someone else who is bored and then you can hang out and talk about how much you miss us.

Hey Bethany,
We are so anxious to get up each morning and read about the exciting things the Lord is doing through you all in Nicaragua, it is the first thing Dad and I do every day. We are praying for you and the team and can’t wait to hear all the details when you get back home. We have been keeping busy while you’re away — your room will never be the same. Brynlee misses you and plans to write soon. So, eat well, rest when you can and enjoy every minute of this life changing trip. Hugs, kisses and all our love, Mom, Dad and Brynlee.

well now, look at you guys. looks like nicaragua is turning out pretty darn good for you guys. it’s so inspiring to hear of everything that is happening. there was a few empty spots in church yesterday so we filled them with our purses and bibles and pretended that they were you all. all of us back in the US have been praying for you guys like crazy. everytime i pray about everyone i’ve been hearing god say ” holding back” or something like that. i’m not sure what it means but i just pray that everyone would give themselves fully into each drama or skit. even you noobs (first timers) to the whole missions trip thing, don’t hold anything back. if you hear god speak don’t doubt him and, as crazy as it may be, do what he tells you. i have a feeling that more healings are in store. you guys rock and i hope you know that.
i loooooooooooooooooooooooove all.
ohh and i just found out that michael gungor will shortly be coming to pennsylvania!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
So proud of you, Laura, as well as the whole gang! (Love your writing style too, Laura! Well done! Maybe you should write a book?) We are waiting patiently to hear all that you have seen and done for Jesus! May the LORD Jesus continue to bless each of you and break off the chains or bondages that would hold anybody back from doing as the Holy Spirit instructs. This is your one BIG chance and you can only be blessed by being obedient! You can do BIG things for Jesus – you are NOT too young!!! Talk about the abundant life! Whoooo weee! You all rock! Thanks for being instruments of our God and King! To Jesus be the praise! We are praying for you all everyday! Love to you all! Blessings, Mom & Dad Hummel
