Recently I have been astounded at the goodness of the Lord, his never-ending love, compassion, and mercy. It’s wonderful how he works for the good of those who love Him. And I have learned in the past few weeks that even in the rough times he is working for the good of those who love Him. He never promised that this road would be easy, but he did promise that He would walk each step with me and with you. Last night at small groups, I was yet again astounded at the goodness of the Lord, He is moving in a mighty way in individuals, but I challenge you that we not only go after Him for ourselves but for others too, friends and enemies alike. And I believe that when we pray in the power of Christ for others, He unites us in an undeniable way, and instead of many soldiers we become an army for God. Our world requires an army, not individual strength, but a spiritual force, going to battle for those who are not yet part of the army. It is through our trials that the Lord is made stronger in our lives (this is where the rough part comes in). But I want you to be encouraged, I am praying for you and the situation you are in right now. I may not know the specifics of your situation, but God knows, and He is working for your good.
