So glad to read your blogs and catch up on what is going on…we really do feel like we are there with you, when we see the work of God at hand – especially when we’re at home here praying for you! The rain sounded welcomed and refreshing…again one of God’s handiworks! (if thats a word??) Caley we miss you so much, but you and the team are being thought of and prayed for daily! It was so nice to see the picture of all of you!! You all look happy and a special God’s glow on all your faces….remember these times and keep them close and precious to your hearts! Look forward to hearing the stories when you get home….I’m sure there is so much to blog about! On our way to sunday night church for prayer, so you will be covered some more! I think I see Chelsea’s feet in the first photo with the black sandals (not flip flops) and I’m guessing the white flip flops are Caley’s and the polka dot shoes in the second photo are Shaynas. You guys are getting down and dirty for Jesus!! We are very proud of all of you!
Yes, I know those feet anywhere…Those are my AMAZING girlfriends feet in the first picture, 2nd from the left…but i have just 1 question…WHERE ARE THE PINK BOOTS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I don’t see any florescent yellow/green toe nails so I’m guessing Miranda is taking the pictures…again!! HAHAHA

And the fact that you were up at midnight writing another fantastic blog, you, awake at midnight? Wow. I hope you are getting SOME sleep my dear.

Well here are my guesses…I’m absolutely clueless about the 1st picture, except I think Caley Deremer may be one of those lovely feet??? my guesses for the 2nd picture is You, Corinne Palese, ???, & Hannah Ito. The 3rd picture, well….all I got is that I think they’re all guys???. I have to say i really like those shoes of your’s, and i always got a lot of compliments when i would kidnap them and wear them to work. I’m so sad they look like they will now be out of comission, but if it was for Jesus than it’s totally fine. look on the bright side now you have a brand new pair of Barn Shoes!!! Yea!!!
one more day and you guys will begin the trek home. i’m sure there are some feelings of sadness for you about that, but be sure to always hold tight to the memories and your thoughts will take you back there in a second. leaving was one of the hardest for me. it was always bitter sweet (you get to come home to your famlies, sleep in your own bed, but your leaving the people you’ve now made incredible bonds with, your leaving the seeds you planted and my not see the fruition of your work ’til we get to heaven). i’m praying you have one last great day and a lovely ride home. we can’t wait to see you and hear all about things. tell Zach i said hello. we were talking to his mom on sunday in the bathroom and sharing stories. his family is so nice, i really like them. ok well i gotta go. i love you and miss you and can’t wait to see you…..soon!! PS i was able to catch on my Jonas LA shows on saturday!!!

I saw the pictures of the foods you all ate and I was soooooo jealous. The last picture reminded me of a place we went to in Honduras called El Pollo Loco. Did you guys eat there or was that james in the chicken outfit?
James I miss you sooooooooooo much but you’d be proud of me. Jose and i worked out 4 days last week ending it with salsa dancing on Thursday night. We were in the pool for over an hour yesterday and went on out 4 mile bike ride today. I saw an amazing doe so close to me on the bike trail and then on the way back I saw her with her two lil ones. It was awesome. I want us to do more things together, when you get back.
Jose is being kept informed by me and when I told him about all the mud you guys have dealt with he said “so what’s a little mud”. I guess considering what he dealt with in Iraq and Afghanistan, a little mud ain’t so bad.
Team Nicaragua, I miss all your faces and the sounds of your voices streaming through the youth building. I know you are being molded into something beautiful for the enjoyment of Christ and that would make any parent proud.
I look forward to more pictures and stories but at this point, I’m really looking forward to you all coming home!!!!!
